We spent the first half of this Art of the Spirit tour in Rome, beginning at St. Peter’s Square for the weekly general audience with Pope Francis. A few Roman highlights included the Forum, the Vatican Museums, and the Jewish Ghetto. In Tuscany we stayed in Chianti from where we made day trips into Florence, Siena, and San Gimignano. Every day was packed with great art, great food, great wine, and of course, great company.
